EMS 119 - Emergency Medical Responder (EMR) 3 credit hours
Emergency Medical Responders provide immediate life-saving care to critical patients who access the EMS system. EMRs have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide immediate life-saving interventions while waiting for additional EMS resources to arrive. Upon successful completion, the student is eligible for state licensure and has the ability to take the NREMT EMR cognitive exam for National Registry EMR certification.
