Introduction to mechanical ventilation, including establishing the need for mechanical ventilation, positive pressure theory, invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation, intubation, airway management, airway clearance techniques, ventilator operation, modes of ventilation, ventilator settings, troubleshooting issues, extubation.
