Entertainment Technology Certificate

Graduation requirement: 24 credit hours

Students interested in enhancing their skills will find that the Entertainment Technology certificate prepares them for entry level technical careers in the entertainment industry. The program focuses on fundamental skills employers look for. Students work with professionals in the field and get real world, hands-on experience that helps build their resumes.

This is a two-semester intensive program of study that will provide students with a strong foundation in lighting and sound technology, custom fabrication in metal and wood, industrial safety, and hands-on show experience. It prepares students for careers in theatre, film, television, commercial entertainment, and theme parks.

Students should plan their certificate program with a Theatre faculty advisor.
